What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is a method where each hair follicle is treated individually. The treatment is performed with a fine probe (the same diameter as the hair follicle) that slides down the hair follicle down to the root structure. Then, the electrologist administers a pulse of electrical current to destroy the blood supply and stem cells that give the hair nutrients to grow, thereby destroying the hair follicle permanently.
Electrolysis is suitable for all skin tones, skin types, hair textures, hair colors, and genders.
Electrolysis is the only hair removal method that effectively destroys white, red, blonde, and light brown hairs.

PCOS
Unwanted hair does NOT need to hold you back from living your life to the fullest.
Some things are out of our control, but unwanted hair can be successfully and permanently removed with the help of electrolysis.
If you suspect you may be living with PCOS, contact your doctor and ask them to check for the necessary tests. In some cases, treatment costs may be covered by your health insurance when hair removal by electrolysis is deemed medically necessary by your primary care physician.
